First UK Orbital Launch Delay
Updated: Dec 30, 2022
This surprised me. There has never been an orbital launch from UK soil.
Things that didn't particularly surprise me: the first scheduled orbital launch from the UK will be:
1. Delayed because of permitting issues (and a few technical issues as well). Don't ya just love bureaucracy?
2. Carried out by a US, California, Company (Virgin Orbit [*1]), and
3. from a site that is technically not "on UK soil."
